This workshop covers the critical or priority trail maintenance (also called level 1 maintenance) responsibilities of trail adopters, maintainers, and others. Participants will be provided with a training video to watch ahead of time, so this training will focus on field instruction, tool use, safety, techniques and best practices for drainage structure maintenance, corridor clearing, and trail marking. This training will meet the basic training requirements for AMC and WMNF trail adopters.
