Granite Outdoor Alliance Continues Rocktails & Streams Outdoor Networking Series at Cranmore
Afternoon combines outdoor recreation, professional networking, and regional collaboration in one of New Hampshire's premier outdoor destinations.
July 30, 2026
North Conway, NH – Following two sold-out events this summer, the Granite Outdoor Alliance (GOA) is bringing its Rocktails & Streams Summer Series to Cranmore Mountain Resort on Thursday, August 27, 2-6pm for an afternoon of outdoor recreation, networking, and conversation about the future of New Hampshire's outdoor economy.
Hosted by the Granite Outdoor Alliance in partnership with Cranmore Mountain Resort and the Mount Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce, the event brings together outdoor businesses, employers, tourism organizations, economic development leaders, and community partners to build relationships while experiencing one of New Hampshire's premier outdoor destinations.
The Cranmore event follows the success of GOA's Outdoor Industry Day, which welcomed more than 200 business and community leaders, and the sold-out Portsmouth Paddle networking event, demonstrating growing demand for opportunities that combine outdoor experiences with professional networking.
FIELD DAY at Cranmore invites attendees to choose their own pace and adventure. Participants can ride Cranmore's Bike Park, hike to the summit, explore Cranmore's Adventure Park, or enjoy a walk or casual bike ride along the Mt. Washington Valley Recreation Path. Designed for every comfort level, this event does not require participants to be experts or extreme adventurers. Attendees can select the experience that feels right for them and participate at their own pace. After the activities, everyone will come together for a BBQ dinner and relaxed networking at the Meister Hut at top of Cranmore.
"The Mount Washington Valley is where Granite Outdoor is headquartered and where I call home, so it's especially meaningful to bring Rocktails & Streams to Cranmore. This region has long demonstrated how outdoor recreation drives local businesses, attracts visitors, and strengthens communities. We're excited to partner with Cranmore, the Mount Washington Valley Chamber, and sponsors, to create another opportunity for people to build relationships while experiencing everything this region has to offer." — Tyler Ray, Executive Director, Granite Outdoor Alliance
In addition to networking and recreation, attendees will hear brief remarks highlighting how outdoor recreation continues to support workforce attraction and retention, regional economic development, and cross-sector collaboration throughout New Hampshire.
"Cranmore has always been a place where people come together to enjoy the outdoors. Becoming a GOA member and hosting Rocktails & Streams is a natural fit because it showcases not only what makes the Mount Washington Valley special, but also the partnerships that help our outdoor economy thrive." — Becca Deschenes, Marketing Director, Cranmore Mountain Resort
"The Mount Washington Valley's economy is built on collaboration, and outdoor recreation is one of our greatest assets. Events like Rocktails & Streams bring together businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders to build relationships that strengthen our region and reinforce why the Valley continues to be a premier destination to live, work, and visit." — Chris Proulx, Executive Director, Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce
The Rocktails & Streams Series is made possible through the continued support of presenting sponsors the New Hampshire Office of Outdoor Recreation Industry Development (ORID) and Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB).
Registration is now open, and advance registration is encouraged as capacity is limited. For more information and tickets, visit www.graniteoutdooralliance.org/rocktails-streams
