Granite Outdoor Alliance Launches 2026 Rocktails & Streams Summer Series
Annual summer business networking series brings together professionals through outdoor experiences
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (July 2, 2026) – Following a sold-out Outdoor Industry Day that brought together more than 200 business leaders, nonprofit partners, educators, and public officials from across New Hampshire, Granite Outdoor Alliance (GOA) is inviting community members, young professionals, outdoor enthusiasts, and business leaders to kick off its 2026 Rocktails & Streams series with an afternoon of paddling, networking, and local connections on the Seacoast.
The Portsmouth Paddle will take place Wednesday, July 15, from 2:00–6:00 p.m. at Seven Rivers Paddling in Portsmouth. Hosted in partnership with Seven Rivers Paddling, the event combines time on the water with local food, craft beverages, and networking among local businesses, young professionals, nonprofit partners, outdoor enthusiasts, and community leaders.
Rather than a traditional networking event, Rocktails & Streams is designed to bring people together through shared outdoor experiences. Whether attendees are looking to expand their professional network, meet others who enjoy the outdoors, or simply spend an afternoon on the water, the event offers an opportunity to experience the businesses, places, and partnerships that make New Hampshire's outdoor economy a competitive advantage.
"Some of the best business conversations happen outside the boardroom," said Tyler Ray, Executive Director of Granite Outdoor Alliance. "Rocktails & Streams gives people an opportunity to experience New Hampshire's outdoor businesses firsthand while making connections that can lead to new partnerships, new ideas, and new opportunities. It's about building relationships while showcasing the places and businesses that make our outdoor economy so strong."
"We're excited to partner with Granite Outdoor Alliance to launch this year's series," said Peter Sawtell, owner of Seven Rivers Paddling. "The Seacoast offers incredible paddling opportunities, and events like this showcase how outdoor recreation strengthens local businesses, attracts talent, and creates meaningful connections across our communities."
The Portsmouth Paddle is the first of three Rocktails & Streams events taking place this year. The series will continue with additional events in August and September, each highlighting a different outdoor business and region of New Hampshire.
The 2026 Rocktails & Streams Series is supported by the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs Office of Outdoor Recreation Industry Development and Meredith Village Savings Bank, with additional support for the Portsmouth Paddle provided by Piscataqua Savings Bank.
The event is open to anyone interested in making new connections, supporting local businesses, and enjoying New Hampshire’s outdoor assets. No paddling experience is required.
Registration is now open, and space is limited. For more information and tickets, visit graniteoutdoor.org/rocktailsandstreams.
